I continued working on the chest after work today. I did cut some corners and ended up using an oscillating multi-tool to do some sanding but it’s still looking pretty good. I’ll screw it all together tomorrow and then start working on the lid.
It’s been a really good learning experience already so the project is already a success. If I also get a half-way decent six-board chest out it, too, that’ll be all the much better.

That new motor for my lathe has been sitting on the dining table for a few days now. It’d be great to get to making some pens again. I do need to spend some time with the website, too.
