This, my friends, is what my life has come to: a daily checklist.
Yesterday, peaked simply by curiosity, I took an online emotional intelligence test. I scored 65/100. I’m not sure if that’s good or not because I had to pay for any more information. And, I ain’t paying for that shit.
I think it’s not so hot though.
Anyway, I got to thinking about what I can do to help me achieve some goals of mine. I needed to be constantly reminded of my goals, an easy way to keep track of my progress, and to be able to keep all of the data in a place. The reminders and record keepers are the checklists, and the place is my Moleskine journal/notebook that I started way back in 2009.
I did consider a digital solution, but I just don’t think it’ll work for me.

Here’s the plan: fill this checklist in daily, and paste it onto a page in my journal.
On a tangential note, I did try looking up some information on emotional intelligence. If you’ve got any good sources, I’d love to hear about them.
I have to admit to feeling incredibly childish about this.
If you want a copy of this checklist for yourself, here it is: Daily Checklist.
