I was really hoping to make a pen tonight but I ended up sharpening the pen mill cutter head — it trims the wood down to the same length as the brass tube — for at least 45 minutes. It was slow going. I’m still not even properly done. I was able to trim down a few blanks so I should be able to get right to turning next time.
I started listening to Adam Grant’s latest podcast episode this morning on my way to work. The topic is how incentives work. I didn’t get very far into the episode but it’s piqued my interest.
