What is something you want to achieve this year?

Each December, I feel compelled to sit down to think about what I want to achieve in the following year. This past December was no different. I made my lists, ranked them, made different lists, and even wrote out a few plans. Now that January is here, there are too many notes in too many different places and I can’t keep track of what it is that I wanted to do.

On this very first day of January 2023, I’m starting over, thinking again about what I want to achieve with the remaining 364 days. I want my side-hustle to grow, to blog more regularly, read more, write stories, continue with woodworking, make videos, and restart my podcast. Those are just the things that I can remember because I’ve been repeating them for the last 10 to 12 Decembers.

The best thing I can resolve to do in 2023 is work on increasing and maintaining my resolve and perseverance. Instead of deciding on anything too specific, a change in my approach to all of them should change. I want to actually follow through on what I want to do, not just dream of how great it’d be to do them.
