Colouring

I’m fully on board with adults colouring. When I was a child, I hated colouring. Now, I find myself trying to squeeze in a little time to colour.

I haven’t invested in a colouring book, yet. I use the free colouring pages on an app called Pigment. The idea of paying a subscription fee for a colouring book just doesn’t jive with me.

There’s something therapeutic about colouring, I find. Sitting quietly, putting colour, between lines, on a page, provides a nice balance of structure and freedom.

Structure and freedom are two things that I’m always trying to harmoniously integrate into my life.

Admittedly, I’ve stuck with the simplest of the colouring pages. The complexity of some of them brings me small amounts of anxiety.
