I’ve been trying to 3D print pieces that’ll fit together. I thought it’d be so much easier than it’s proving to be. I’m not sure what I’m getting right and what I need to fix.
The plan is to 3D print a router template for the resin table that I want to make. My thinking is that I’ll get a precise shape with clean edges if I use a template. I can’t print the template in one go because I’m limited to a 22 cm x 22 cm bed on the 3D printer.

Laser cutting the pieces is another option, but I’m not sure how much more accurate that’ll be. I’ll also be limited to the size of the 30 cm x 30 cm plywood sheets that I’d be using.
I’ll keep plugging away at it. These are interesting challenges.
If you know what I need to do to get this right, please let me know.
