I just knit my first sock

I just finished knitting my first sock.

As part of my search for alternative rebellion strategies (more about this in a future post), I thought I’d give knitting a try. When thinking about different ways to engage the senses, knitting falls under touch. I enjoy working with my hands, even though I’m pretty soft.

Now, I have to make another one that matches. Next, I’m going to attempt mittens because I’ve been missing the ones I lost that I bought while I was an exchange student in Finland. Those were the best mittens I’ve ever touched.
