Hannah’s been taking care of her mom’s cat so I’ve had the evenings to myself. Because she’s a vegetarian, I don’t eat meat as often as I used to, but I’ve been picking through my stash of frozen meals over the last few nights.
Tonight, it struck me just how amazing my mother is. She prepares all of these meals for me, freezes them, and then packs ‘em into a suitcase for me to bring home with me. She’s not only amazing because she makes delicious meals for me, but they do bring me a lot of comfort on nights like tonight, when Hannah’s left me to my own devices.
