I went to Medieval Times for the first time on Saturday. A friend of mine organised the event for his birthday. It’s not something I would ever have thought to do to celebrate a birthday. But, that’s why we have friends…to share new experiences with.
For dinner, we were given half a chicken, cooked, probably tomato soup, a slice of garlic bread, and a thick wedge of a baked potato. To drink, we had a selection of warm soda to choose from.
This was not an event you go to dinner for. The main event is a battle among knights.
I took some pictures and videos.
We were on the Black-and-White Knight’s team.
There was some dressage.
The knights had to honour the queen.
A bird flew around.
The knights tried to get a ring on a stick.
Jousting!
The final battle.
Our knight won! Hurrah!
I didn’t go in with high expectations but I gotta say that I did enjoy myself. It was really good fun.
