I just finished knitting my first sock. As part of my search for alternative rebellion strategies (more about this in a future post), I thought I’d give knitting a try. When thinking about different ways to engage the senses, knitting falls under touch. I enjoy working with my hands, even though I’m pretty soft.
We were finally let out of lockdown last Friday and people took advantage. The city got busy again and people were rushing to places. The city felt more like itself again. I’ve had a note on my desk to write something about gumption for about a month now. Oddly, it’s been difficult to sit down and write it. I haven’t felt like it.
