I finally got my taxes done today. That is a chore that could be made so much easier.
A couple of months back, I signed up for QuickBooks, thinking it’ll help me keep better track of my business finances. After plugging in all of last year’s expenses and sales, I was confused about which reports to run to get the data I needed to plug into TurboTax.
Why aren’t they linked?
What are all the expense categories? What’s the difference between Supplies that are cost of goods and simply supplies? There’s a lot more reading and learning that I need to do in order to be more effective with my bookkeeping.
There’s got to be a better way.
Now that it’s out of the way, I’m looking forward to having that space in my brain back. I’m looking forward to moving on to the next thing.
