I went to Home Depot today but I didn’t walk out with any tools. Or wood. I left with a new barbecue, some patio tiles, and a propane tank. Boy, was I thrilled.
It took me much longer than I would’ve liked to make a decision and to find something I wanted. Understanding very little about barbecues, the salesman had an easy time steering me toward the more expensive, nicer looking Weber machines. I ended up with a Nexgrill, even though it’s my “firsgrill”.
I didn’t get an apron.
Tomorrow morning, I’ll wake up and get to work putting the patio tiles down before assembling the barbecue.
I’m really excited for it. There’s something about having these things that my parents had when I was a kid that makes me feel more like “I’ve made it.”
