What snack would you eat right now?
During the holiday season, we had Hannah’s mom and sister over one evening. In anticipation of that, we bought cold cuts and cheese. We bought it from Costco. I do love Costco but there are only two of us, so I’m often responsible for encouraging us to buy more than we need. This was one such occasion.
School is a busy place. So busy, in fact, that I regularly leave my lunch unfinished. Every morning, I pack my lunch bag in hopes of having a healthy meal to get me through the second half of the day. Every lunch hour, I repack what I’ve brought with me.
Wasting food is an issue for me so I’ve been trying to eat whatever I didn’t finish at lunch after school when we get home. There’s usually enough food to tide me over until a late dinner. But, for this last week, I’ve been working on the cheeses. Only this afternoon did I finish the cheese.
Next week, I plan to work through the meats.
