I’m thinking about selling my art

I’ve been thinking about passive income for a few months. It’s an attractive concept: you make something and then it makes money for you. When thinking about ways to pay the rent, passive income seems like the best option.

The problem with passive income is that you have to do something. Not only that, you have to keep doing something. It would seem that the bubble has burst rather quickly. However, it’s still a notion worth considering.

I’m not looking to make a lot of money through passive income. I mean, I wouldn’t mind making my millions, but, being more realistic, I’d just like to pay, say, half of my rent with passive income. I think that’s attainable. People on YouTube are doing it and I watched parts of their videos.

Not too long ago, I got an email asking me to put together an audio course. I replied, asking what they’d like to me to put together a course on. They told me that they don’t have a wishlist, that I should put together a proposal for them. I haven’t put together a proposal.

The email did get me thinking, though. I started thinking about what I could teach the world. I’m still thinking about it. I’m sure there’s something but I don’t know what it is. There’s got to be something. Then I started thinking about what I can sell.

“I’ve got some pictures sitting around on hard drives,” I thought, “I could sell them!” But how? Printing and shipping them from home would be too expensive. Marketing them would also be a nightmare. I’ve been looking around on the internet a bit and I think I have found a decent solution: print on demand.

I’m going to try it, I think.
